What a Great Orlando Holiday Party Venue Actually Feels Like

We spent an afternoon at the DoubleTree by Hilton Orlando Downtown testing out our Ornament Keepsake Station for a "Christmas in July" showcase, and it confirmed something we already believed: the best holiday parties aren't about how much red and green you can fit in a room. They're about giving people a reason to look up from their phones.
The Room Sets the Mood, the Moments Make the Night
Atmospheres Floral & Décor (@AtmospheresFloralDecor) dressed the space in deep emerald bows, pine garland, and gold chargers layered with velvet napkins in forest green and cranberry. Crystal Event Rental (@crystal.eventrental) and Echo Event Rentals (@EchoEventRentals) filled out the tablescape and a lounge corner built for lingering, not just passing through. A black and white dance floor and a white bar cart from Anna Party Rentals (@AnnaPartyRentals) gave the room its edge.
But the decor was the setup, not the story. The story was watching a violinist from David Violin Music (@DavidViolinMusic) play solo in the candlelight, then a saxophonist from Reggie on Sax (@reggieonsax) shift the whole room's energy a few hours later. It was DJ and LED uplighting from VMA Sound Entertainment (@VMAsoundentertainment) carrying the transitions between the two. Radiant Event Design (@radianteventdesign) built a literal "Progressive Event Road Map," sending guests from lobby check-in to the pool deck to a suite reveal before landing in the ballroom. Nobody walked into one room and stayed put. They explored a whole hotel dressed for the holidays.
Where the Keepsake Station Comes In
Here's the enhancement we're most excited to talk about: the Ornament Keepsake Station. Guests stepped into our Photobooth Rocks setup, took a photo, and walked away minutes later with a real ornament, their photo printed and hanging from a red ribbon, ready to take home or hang on a tree that night.
What we noticed wasn't the ornaments themselves. It was what people did with them. Two guests held theirs straight up over their heads, laughing, comparing photos like they'd won something. A group at the display rack leaned in together, cracking up as they picked theirs off the hooks. That's the part decor alone can't buy: a reason for people to actually interact with each other, not just stand near a pretty backdrop.
We paired the Keepsake Station with a snowy backdrop for portraits, so guests had more than one way to take something home.
